Confrontations

There's that woman, Lilly McElroy, who did a series of photographs, called 'Locations', where she documented people's reaction to her 'unexpected behaivor'. Outcome: the knowledge of passivity of the society plus untold restrictions of public behaivor. 

There's an interesting article related to the project on her website (unfortunately I can't give a link now as the mouse I am using is hardly working).

This woman is also the one who did the series called 'I Throw Myself at Men', where she photographed herself jumping at different men in pubs and bars. I think it's intrigue as the moment is very unusual and personal in a way.

There is also another woman who did a confrontational shoot. Her name is Mariko Sakaguchi, born Tokyo, but studied Korea. Her series is called 'One Hundred Views of Bathing' nd what she did was photographing herself taking the traditional Japanese bath in, again, public places.

What I like about this work is that NO ONE pays attention to what's going on. Hell yeah, it soo normal.

Alexander Tikhomirov

He is a photographer from ST. Petersburg, does shoots for weddings and s*** like that. BUT personal work is astonishing. 

Silvia Pelissero

Striking illustrations by a Rome-based artist, Silvia Pelissero. I think these colours is probably too much: they are in no harmony and most of the time acid. Also it seems to me that some of the work needs 'cleaning': the spaces are fulfilled with heavy tones. But I like the approach and the reality of them.

Ana Montiel

She is from Spain, she is based in London, she draws, she prints, she illustrates, she is awesome. Really pleasant and gentle drawings, I guess she is really sensitive herself. One thing I would point out- sometimes her work seem unfinished, or it doen't have the main point if you know what I mean (formal composition)

As you can see, evrything is nice, pretty and cute. I also liked her idea about the wallpaper+ check this video out, it's pretty clever and entartaining:
