Ana Montiel
She is from Spain, she is based in London, she draws, she prints, she illustrates, she is awesome. Really pleasant and gentle drawings, I guess she is really sensitive herself. One thing I would point out- sometimes her work seem unfinished, or it doen't have the main point if you know what I mean (formal composition)
As you can see, evrything is nice, pretty and cute. I also liked her idea about the wallpaper+ check this video out, it's pretty clever and entartaining:

Zander Olsen, police registration and iPad 2 White
Zander Olsen did this amazing series of trees wrapped with white material to build up a relationship between the space, trees and horizon. I think he managed to convey the point and the work is just beautiful, very well-executed too.
One of the most successful because of the dynamics and the rhythms.

I was in the TATE Modern when my dad called me and said that my mum bought him an iPad 2 White for their anniversary. Ammmazing!!! He was dreaming about it. My job now is to find him the best iPad case (which will be incredibly hard for me, judging the search for my iPhone case) for his birthday (hehehe)
And...another great news! I am finally done with my police registration!!! A breath of relief. No more pain in the ass at the back of my mind.

Stuart Hilton
A really marvelous video by Stuart Hilton. It describes our day-to-day activity. Gorgeous! Wish I saw it during my journey project research..
A bit more about experimental film in the 20th Century: Norman McLaren
Norman McLaren was born in Scotland and Glasgow School of Art. After WW2 he moved to Canada and worked for National Film Board. He is also known for his drawings on film and experiments with sounds and graphics.
Neighbours received an Oscar (the propaganda of peace and understanding b/ween neighbours)
A Phantasy in Colour. My personal favourite. The drawings and music are just wonderful.. Love it!
Len Lye
This week we are doing moving image and Len Lye is a really bright example of experimental film. Although I find the videos quite boring at some point, they might be really playful+ the music is really pleasant.
[Len Lye was from New Zealand, but from 1950s was living and working in America]

I need to admit that I adore 'Swinging in the Lambeth walk', it just reflects the music and all the instruments used so perfectly! +Lovely colours. xxx

How many things happen to me every day! Sometimes when we just live and don't keep the record of stuff that we go through, it's so easy to forget all those amazing details that fill certain times and situations.
Yesterday I was waiting for Y. in Notting Hil Gate in, of course, ITSU. Ok, I can understand that I love sushi and blah-blah-blah but not eating them once very two days and spending 40 pounds!! Although the lamp was really nice.

And today was a marvelous day! I love love Covent Garden. Found that mazing Snow+Rock shop with equipment (!) for snowboards, tracking and stuff. I never expected that the 'clothes' are so expensive, I mean 220 pounds for a jacket!! And eventualy me and Y. found OnePiece clothings which is pretty gorgeous.
London Graphic Centre cheered me up a bit. Than we went lloking for any fast food places because Y. was running late. And...yay, jacket potatoes and mulled vine!! Perfect. The jacket potatoes man was so awesome, he kept shouting Elvis's song out. All of the feeling were just so great, I could feel Christmas rushing to our doorsteps. Love this time of the year in London.

I don't know, but I feel amazing when in Oxford Street. Is it because everyone is so excited and happy there?

Matt Wisniewski
Matt is a web-developer from Brooklyn, NY. He surfes the web looking for, as he says, 'pretty things' and makes his own.
I think his work is just beautiful. It also reminds me of collages by John Stezaker.
Artem Krepkij
An outstanding illustrator from Ukraine. He makes this amazing powerful more-like-sketches work.
I think sometimes the work is overwhelmed with tone and seems dirty, but it's just the way Artem works, right?
